Each of Full Sail's degree programs is developed and shaped in conjunction with an advisory board of industry professionals. By working closely with leaders and creative minds within a given industry, we are able to constantly adapt and revise our curriculum to make sure we're giving students the optimal educational experience to help propel them into their careers.

Chip Bowers

Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Marketing
Orlando Magic

Chip Bowers was named Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Marketing for the Orlando Magic in June 2011, his fourth year with the team. Mr. Bowers oversees the marketing, corporate partnerships sales, and client service process for the Magic, with responsibilities which cover the management of all daily sales activities, the partnership development managers, the account service team, inventory management and contract fulfillment.  Additionally, he oversees marketing, brand management, creative services, interactive marketing, broadcast production and game presentation and event operations.

He spent the previous eight seasons in various roles with the Seattle SuperSonics, most recently serving as Vice President of Business Development.  Prior to joining the Sonics, Mr. Bowers was a Senior Account Executive with the San Diego Padres. A graduate of Appalachian State University, Bowers resides in Orlando with his wife, April, and daughters Charlie and Poppy.

Ken Lehner

Owner/Managing Partner
Rockland Boulders Baseball Club

Ken Lehner is currently an owner and Managing Partner of the Rockland Boulders Baseball Club, a minor league baseball team who commenced play in the Provident Bank Park, located just 30 minutes from New York City, on June 16, 2011. Mr. Lehner has over 15 years of sports management experience in MLB, NFL, and NHL, and over 10 years of sports management experience in minor league baseball with the Buffalo Bisons and Brevard County Manatees. Mr. Lehner’s prestigious career in sports has also earned him several awards, including a 2008 Emmy Award as executive of Fox Sports Net. He was awarded the 1997 March of Dimes Citizen of the Year and the 1997 Florida State League Executive of the Year. He was executive with the Florida Marlins in 1997 when the team won the World Series, and was also executive with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2004 when they won the Stanley Cup. Mr. Lehner earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Fordham University, and earned his MBA from Duke University.

Peter Hassen

Senior Director of Market Development and Community Affairs
Chicago Blackhawks

Currently the Senior Director of Market Development and Community Affairs for the Chicago Blackhawks, Peter Hassen is responsible for directing all aspects of the team’s marketing, fan and brand development. More specifically, Mr. Hassen oversees the day-to-day operations of Chicago Blackhawk Charities and all player relations. He researches and manages projects that will help move the Blackhawks brand mainstream and develop the overall fan base of the team. Prior to joining the Blackhawks, Mr. Hassen was the Senior Manager of Media Relations and Corporate Communications for Delaware North Companies in Buffalo, New York; prior to that, he served as the Director of Community Development and Public Relations for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League, with responsibilities in the areas of fan development, community and public relations and marketing. Mr. Hassen graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo State and from Central Michigan University. He is originally from Buffalo, New York, and currently resides in the Roscoe Village area of Chicago.

Dan Migala

Entrepreneur/Publisher of The Migala Report

Dan Migala is an established entrepreneur who has worked for or advised sports franchises at virtually every level, including MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA, NCAA, MLS, the LPGA, Cricket Australia, and numerous minor league teams. Mr. Migala’s work has focused primarily on issues related to sponsorship, technology, and sports marketing. Mr. Migala is best known as the Publisher of The Migala Report, a monthly newsletter he founded in 2002 to help keep sports marketing executives abreast of the best practices and current trends in sports marketing. He served for nearly a decade as a columnist for **Sports Business Journal** and has authored three books on sports marketing; including his most recent composition **Interactive Sports Strategies**. Mr. Migala also co-founded Property Consulting Group, a sponsorship and consulting company whose diverse portfolio of clients include Cricket Australia, Major League Soccer, the Village of Rosemont, and the San Diego Padres, where Mr. Migala served as Vice President of Creative Partnerships from 2009 to 2011. The avid baseball lover is a co-owner of the Class A Ft. Myers Miracle with his mentor Mike Veeck.  He is also the author of the Amazon.com best-selling book **Dugout Wisdom**, a collection of stories that identifies life lessons through conversations with more than 50 Hall of Famers. A graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and a graduate of Ohio University with a master’s degree in Sports Administration, Mr. Migala has also served as a visiting professor of sports marketing at the W.P. Carey School of Business MBA Sports Business Program at Arizona State University, Baylor University Hankamer School of Business, New York University, San Diego State University Sports MBA Program and at his alma mater. He most recently has served as Director of the master’s degree program in Sports Administration at Northwestern University.

Robert Olszewski

Managing Principal
Emerson Management and Consulting Group

Robert “Bobby” Olszewski has over 15 years of leadership and organizational management experience, specializing in strategic partnerships, business planning, and economic development. Mr. Olszewski is a business owner, leading the Emerson Management & Consulting Group, Inc. as Managing Principal. He has served as the top Central Florida executive for an international organization responsible for all business operations including administration and finance, and he has negotiated numerous contracts and agreements with past clients that include corporate brands, professional athletes, events, and multimedia partners. Mr. Olszewski serves on the board of directors of the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, the board of governors of Orange County Public Schools’ West Orange Montessori Charter School, and the Central Florida board of advisors of the James Madison Institute. Mr. Olszewski has current and/or past affiliations with numerous Central Florida instituations, including Florida Citrus Sports and the Downtown Athletic Club of Orlando, Inc. Mr. Olszewski additionally serves as an adjunct professor for several colleges and universities including the University of Central Florida, Boston University, Rollins College, Valencia College, and more.

Chuck Pagano

Chief Technology Officer
ESPN

Chuck Pagano, who joined ESPN prior to its debut on September 7, 1979 as a technical director, was named Chief Technology Officer of ESPN in 2011. He is responsible for all technology sectors within ESPN, including television, radio, and new media, as well as research and development. Prior to this position, Mr. Pagano served as Executive Vice President, technology, engineering and operations (2005 – 2011), where he led his department and oversaw engineering, operations, facilities and new technology. Under Mr. Pagano’s leadership, ESPN technology developed the first 3D network in the United States and the world’s first 1080p HD facility in ESPN’s Los Angeles Production Center. In addition to overseeing the build-out of this facility, Chuck’s emerging technology team was honored with a Sports Emmy for its new Virtual Playbook application, an augmented reality which is achieved by integrating EA Sports’ customized video games into ESPN’s studio environment. Mr. Pagano was the key driver in the creation of ESPN’s Bristol-based Digital Center. Mr. Pagano was honored as one of four "technology wonks" in The Sporting News’ 2003 “Power 100" rankings and again received an honor from The Sporting News’ Power 100 in 2006. In 2004, Mr. Pagano was awarded the Technology Leadership award from Broadcasting and Cable magazine as recognition for his many contributions to sports television production and the rollout of HDTV technology. A native of Waterbury, Conn., Mr. Pagano received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering in 1984, and a master of science degree in organizational psychology in 2007, both from the University of Hartford.

Rick Paiva

Vice President – Creative Servies
ESPN

After a long history in the sports industry, Rick Paiva is currently the Vice President - Creative Services of ESPN, but he has held many titles throughout his time at ESPN, including Executive Director – Creative Services and Studio Directing, Senior Coordinating Director – Studio Directing Department, and Coordinating Director – Studio Directing Department. He was a Newscast Director for WITI-TV in Milwaukee and WCMH-TV in Columbus and WFLA-TV in Tampa. He became a Studio Director for ESPN in 1991, and has worked for the sports giant ever since. Mr. Paiva has won many awards throughout his long career in sports, including three Cable Ace Awards for directing the Sunday NFL Countdown and nine national Sports Emmys (four for directing NFL Countdown, one for directing SportsCenter, one for directing the network’s X Games coverage, and three for design achievement). Mr. Paiva directed the Sunday NFL Countdown for nine years, and the first ten years of the X Games and Winter X Games. Mr. Paiva has also worked on 2010 World Cup in South Africa and the 2011 Women’s World Cup in Germany. Mr. Paiva currently resides in Canton, CT.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV Communications from Marquette University.

Ken Potrock

SVP, Disney Sports Enterprises
Disney Sports Enterprises

Ken Potrock leads Disney Sports Enterprises, responsible for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts involvement in all sports efforts globally – including line of business leadership of the newly re-imagined ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida, the synergistic relationship with ESPN, ongoing and developing relationships with leagues and organizations [e.g., NBA, NFL, MLB, AAU, USOC], and the development of sports business initiatives [events, facility expansion, sponsor programs, PR] globally. Prior to joining the Sports Enterprises team, Mr. Potrock led Global Alliance Marketing for Disney’s $12 billion Parks and Resorts division, which encompasses the five Disney Resorts around the world, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, and the Adventures by Disney travel business. Mr. Potrock began his Disney career in 1996 as Vice President of Marketing for Disney Cruise Line, where he developed many of the initial marketing strategies and communication plans in preparation for Disney’s successful launch into the family vacation category. Prior to that, Mr. Potrock was a Senior Partner for Ryan Partnership, a marketing consulting and promotion agency, where he was responsible for a cadre of top entertainment and sports-oriented clients. Mr. Potrock earned his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. He lives in Winter Park, Florida, with his wife, Susanne, sons, Griffin and Cole, and his Labradors, Snickers and Cooper.

Cathy Weeden

Southeast Regional Vice President
IMG College

Cathy Weeden is Southeast Regional Vice President of IMG College and part of IMG College’s Corporate Leadership team. Prior to joining IMG College, she served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Fox Sports Florida and Sun Sports (formerly Sunshine Network), two regional sports television networks serving the state of Florida. At Fox, Ms. Weeden negotiated and oversaw the network's programming agreements and relationships with its team partners including the Florida Marlins, Florida Panthers, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Rays, Florida State University, University of Florida, as well as the SEC and ACC conferences. Ms. Weeden joined IMG College with 16 years of management experience at regional sports networks. A native Floridian, she joined Sun Sports originally in 1990 and held positions overseeing affiliate sales and marketing, as well as a role as Assistant GM from 1996-1999. She returned to Sun Sports in 2002 as Vice President/General Manager after serving in that capacity at Fox Sports Arizona for two years.   Multichannel News, a leading cable publication, and Women in Cable & Telecommunications honored Ms. Weeden as one of 12 "Wonder Women" in cable television for 2006. A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a bachelor of arts in Journalism, Ms. Weeden received the University's 2008 Distinguished Alumni Award; she was also honored with the Professional Achievement Award from UCF's College of Arts and Sciences in 2002. Ms. Weeden also serves on the Board of Directors and is Chairman of Florida Citrus Sports.
