From the various facets of print media to the ever-expanding world of the Web, businesses are seeking ways to maximize the impact of a single picture and well-placed text. Creative professionals in the design industry must be able to bridge the gap between the design studio and the boardroom.
A design team is comprised of self-motivated artists with strengths in creative vision, design, concept development, critical thinking, and a commitment to communicating visual messages. At the forefront of a project, the Creative Director interprets the needs of a client and oversees the direction to ensure that new content fits with the main concepts and objectives. From there, the Art Director oversees the process, quality, and productivity of art development on a project. Then, the creative team – graphic designers, media coordinators, multimedia specialists, production designers, and more – propels the vision into a reality.
Full Sail graduate Jayson Whitmore has taken his love for motion graphics – blending music, video, and art into a unified piece – into his own company, the award-winning design house Royale. The studio has found success catering to multiple areas of the entertainment industry, and has created motion graphics packages for the likes of Comedy Central, Diesel, and Flaunt magazine.
As Project Manager at Technomedia Solutions, Entertainment Business graduate Kristin Wemlinger’s job is to steer and supervise the direction of the audio/visual components for theme park attractions, clubs, live venues, resorts, cruise lines, and more, with a client list that includes Hard Rock and Universal Studios.
