Kathy Craven

Filmmaking Principles and Education

Kathy Craven is a University of Florida Documentary Institute graduate who has produced a wide range of films chronicling subjects ranging from an obsessive hitchhiker to a Central Park performer whose “prayformances” saved his life.  Her current project takes viewers across Guinea, following Sidiki, an African dancer who transcends disability by dancing on his hands. In 2010 she was director and co-editor for a music video that promotes reading and involved over 1600 middle school students.

Richard Repp

Dr. Repp holds a Ph.D. in Technology-Based Music Instruction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Music in Performance (Voice) with an emphasis in Arts Technology from Illinois State University, a BS in Music and Mathematics (Dual Degree) from Illinois State, and an AA and AS from William Rainey Harper College. He studied recording at the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH, completing the Recording Engineering and Music Production Program, the Studio Maintenance and Troubleshooting Program, the Advanced Recording Engineering and Music Production Program, and the NewTech Computer-Based Audio Production Program. He is a certified TI-ME instructor, and is also a certified McClosky Voice Technician (CMVT).

Daniel Siegel

Dr. Daniel Siegel has a passion for teaching all types of students in all walks of life. He has taught in a variety of environments from elementary students to top-level executives at Fortune 500 companies. As an instructional designer, Dr. Siegel has developed courseware for a variety of industries and government organizations such as the U.S. Navy, Stanford University, Disney, Home Depot, and the Department of Education.

Lisa Smith

Lisa Smith

Digital Media and Education Applications

Lisa Smith has had an extensive career as an instructional designer and technologist focusing on instructional multimedia and web-based training. Her educational background includes a combination of visual art, mass media, and behavioral sciences. While completing a Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design from the University of Central Florida, Lisa jump-started her e-learning career with a student co-op position at Lockheed Martin. Following that, she had a successful career as an instructional designer, creating training programs for the U.S. military. Her passion is creativity, as attested by the innovation of her work and her love for the creative arts.
